Frank & Jynnifer Albano and Amber Crockett from Cape Charles Baptist Church will be heading back to Malawi on a medical mission’s trip.
There is a team of 29 going this year, the majority of whom have gone before. There will be 9 providers, many nurses, and a dentist. This will be the biggest group since pre-Covid.
The economy there has worsened and when they met back in November to plan the trip, it was 1700 Kwatcha to the U.S. dollar. There is limited gasoline available and rolling brownouts continue. They are so grateful there are solar panels on the clinic now! The government has been unable to supply medications to any clinics and their
medical team opted to empty their storeroom to supply meds to the villages. They will continue to use Blessings and other partners here to help offset the cost of medicines. Amber will be collecting medical supplies at the hospital.
There will be a bucket in the foyer of the church collecting Children and Adult multi-vitamins. Please no GUMMIES.
